DVDs Of The Month: July
There’s a lot on offer this month, with a wide variety of genres available. This also includes a fair few sequels to some of your most watchable favourites…but chances are you’ll want to skip them.
‘Lights Out’ Review
Based on his short film of the same name (which you can find on Youtube), David F. Sandberg has crafted a taut and terrifying horror that is sure to be one of the best of the year (or even in recent times). The film follows Rebecca (Teresa Palmer) as she tries to help her mother…
‘Jump Street’: The prime reboot and sequel
With all of the discussion floating around about the potential Men in Black – Jump Street crossover sequel this past week, I thought it would be a good time to take a look back at Jump Street’s success as a reboot then a sequel. It is one of the rare occurrences in current times where a…

David Ayer’s team up of DC’s super-villains is likely to draw interest from many angles and the many fans of the different characters that make up the squad. The relentless marketing campaign…
‘Finding Dory’ Review
13 years we waited and now, finally, the world can be reunited with its favourite animated fish. Pixar has once again proven itself trustworthy in being able to care for and service beloved characters in a worthwhile sequel that doesn’t drag down the original. Finding Dory is set a mere year after the events of…
